MTG Summer Party - Pauper tournament - (2025)
More than 60 participants played magic, in an atmosphere that honestly was full of excited and happy players. The room had a buzz of pleasantness about it. Pure "hygge". We give another round of applause for everyone's involvement. This was the first of many tournaments to come.
Pauper
A total of 21 players joined the Pauper tournament. With a lot of local players from Bodø. And a few that travelled in for the event, from Sortland, Tromsø and Trondheim.
The finale was won by Lars-Magnus Finnevolden, and the top 4 players where:
- Lars-Magnus Finnevolden, 24p (first price included: Flight to Oslo and paid registration to NM)
- Nikolas Strømsnes, 18p
- Tobias Nilsson, 15p
- Fredrik Jæger Lyngmo, 15p
Casual
36 players signed up for casual Commander. Where the pauper players joined in later in the evening. After 20:00, the bar opened. It's just such a brilliant way to meet new and old friends.
The next large tournament will try to mingle more players:
- Countdowns to drafts
- Countdown to tables for: EDH, cEDH, legacy (and other formats that are requested)
